Inspired by the agile movement, we plan in six-week blocks. We work in squads that bring together experts from across different functional areas, such as technology and user experience. Product managers lead the daily stand-ups with their squads, at which the day’s priorities are agreed, any blockers are identified so they can be removed, and we check that we’re on schedule.

  • Working in the product department is highly collaborative. We collect feedback from other teams at ComplyAdvantage and from the customer. That way, we can ensure we deliver what the customer needs and get ideas for future improvements.
  • The product department also includes the international affairs research analysts (IARA) team. They use their expertise to find high-quality data sources to add to our financial crime database, ensuring that it is accurate and up to date.
  • The product department is also home to our UX (user experience) experts. They are responsible for setting and upholding the standards for user-centric design. They collect and analyze data about user behavior in a systematic way. This data provides an evidential basis for product design decisions. After a design has been changed, our UX experts measure the effectiveness of that change.
  • Associate Product Manager, Anastajia says: “The culture across all the teams at ComplyAdvantage is one of support and collaboration. I feel like we’ve got each other’s back. It’s almost like a little family, which is a great thing to be able to say about a company and its culture.”
